Meridian needed a live-site hotel refit in Kandy: guest-facing floors modernised while operations continued on adjacent levels. Greystone delivered interiors, custom joinery and an MEP upgrade under a compressed programme.
A full-floor refurbishment of a heritage building — completed two weeks ahead of programme with zero downtime for the operator.

Challenge
Night working next to occupied rooms, heritage fabric that could not be disturbed carelessly, and an opening date already sold to the market.
Approach
Phased floor takeovers, acoustic screens, and a joinery shop that prefabricated rooms off-site. MEP upgrades ran in service voids overnight so guest floors stayed usable by morning.
Outcome
Two weeks ahead of programme. Zero operational incidents. Operator reopened on the published date.
